     Charles Stavers was born at Portsmouth, Rockingham County, New Hampshire, in 1800.1,2 He was the son of William Stavers and Catherine Cotton.1 Charles Stavers married as his first wife at Portsmouth, Rockingham County, New Hampshire, on 22 May 1823, Sarah Ann Huntress, daughter of John H. Huntress and Susanna Thompson, ceremony performed by Rev. Frederick Clark.3,4
      Charles Stavers was a bookbinder.1 He resided at Dover, Strafford County, New Hampshire, in 1830. Charles Stavers was listed as the head of a family on the 1830 Census at Dover, Strafford County, New Hampshire.5

John Stavers married at Portsmouth, Rockingham County, New Hampshire, circa 1854, Mary Jane Kennedy, daughter of Thomas Kennedy and Elizabeth Devereux.1 John Stavers died on 30 October 1878.1
