In 1787 Jonathan Swett and Lydia his wife of Windsor, N H, sold to Joel Leighton all right and interest in the estate of William Huntress late of Newington See deed at Exeter, N H., Feb.24, 1784, Jonathan Swett of Campbell's Gore (Windsor) sold to Josiah Swett of Wenham land at Hampton Falls. See deed at Exeter, CVII.21. Jonathan Swett of Windsor, in his will 2 March 1808-3 March 1814, names wife Lydia and the following children. The records of Windsor were burned long ago."6 Jonathan was a yeoman at Windsor, Hillsborough County, New Hampshire, in 1779. Jonathan Swett was listed as the head of a family on the 1790 Census at Portland, Cumberland County, Maine.
