Sarah Ann Thayer was born at Franklin, Norfolk County, Massachusetts, on 12 July 1844.1 She was the daughter of William Hayden Thayer and Lucy Tracey Clark.1 Sarah Ann Thayer married before 16 August 1870, George T Gay, son of Silas Gay.2 Sarah Ann Thayer died of consumption at Weymouth, Norfolk County, Massachusetts, on 12 October 1871 at age 27.2
