     George Weeks was born say 1605. He married say 1626, Jane Clap, daughter of William Clap and Johan Channon.2,3 George Weeks died on 28 December 1650.4
      He came to Dorchester, Mass., in the same ship with Rev. Richard Mather, in 1635, five years after the original settlement in 1630.5 He and Jane his wife were admitted to at First Church, Dorchester, Suffolk County, Massachusetts, on 21 December 1639.6 George Weeks was listed as a freeman on 13 May 1640.7
