     Arthur L West was born at Haverhill, Essex County, Massachusetts, on 11 September 1884.2,3,4 He was the son of Silas West and Elizabeth Callery.2 Arthur L West married on 29 May 1909, at age 24, Bertha Elvira Wilson, age 18, daughter of Albion D Wilson and Ida E Huntress.1 Arthur L West died after 7 April 1930.
     He resided at 49 Central Street, Haverhill, Essex County, Massachusetts, in 1910.3 Arthur L West was a sign painter in 1910.3,4 He was listed as the head of a family on the 1910 Census at 49 Central Street, Haverhill, Essex County, Massachusetts.
