      Karl Manzer Bancroft was a machinist on 14 October 1914.3 He was a a driver employed by William Mitchell on 5 June 1917 at South Street, Somerville, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.2 He was described as medium height and build with light blue eyes and brown hair, no balding on 5 June 1917.2 He registered for the draft at Somerville, Middlesex County, Massachusetts, on 5 June 1917.2 He and Florence Hackett resided at 3 Fairlee Street, Somerville, Middlesex County, Massachusetts, on 5 June 1917.24 Karl Manzer Bancroft resided at Arlington, Middlesex County, Massachusetts, on 21 October 1933.5
