     Joseph Chick Huntress was baptized at Church of Newington, Newington, Rockingham Co, New Hampshire, on 16 June 1771 by Rev. Joseph Adams.¹ He married at Newington, Rockingham Co, New Hampshire,, on 29 October 1797, at age 26, Mary Chick, daughter of Thomas Chick.^3,2 Joseph Chick Huntress died probably between 1820 and 1830.⁴
     He resided at Newington, Rockingham Co, New Hampshire. Joseph Chick Huntress was a farmer at Parsonsfield, York Co, Maine, in 1800. Joseph C. Huntress was listed as the head of a family on the 1800 Census at Newington, Rockingham Co, New Hampshire. In his family were one male between 16 and 26 (Joseph, 29), one female under 10 (Hannah), and one between 16 and 26 (Mary).⁵ He bought 47 acres in Parsonsfield, Me 1802.⁶ Joseph C. Huntress was listed as the head of a family on the 1810 Census at Parsonsfield, York Co, Maine. In his family were one male less than 10 years of age (unk), one between 26 and 45 (Joseph). This does not correlate to his family at all.⁷ In 1817 Joseph C. Huntress and Mary his wife of Parsonsfield, Me, conveyed her share in the estate of "our honored father Thomas Chick late of Berwick, husbandman."^8,9 Joseph C. Huntress was listed as the head of a family on the 1820 Census at Parsonsfield, York Co, Maine. In his family were one male over 45 years of age (Joseph), two females between 10 and 16 (Sarah and Abigail), one between 16 and 26 (probably Elsie), and one over 45 (Mary?, 41). His daughter Mary was probably not enumerated.¹⁰ Joseph C. Huntress came from Newington in 1800. His children born prior to 1806 were Samuel, Hannah, Elsie, Polly and Sally.¹¹

     Sarah Huntress was born at Newington, Rockingham Co, New Hampshire, on 17 May 1773.^2,3 She was baptized at Church of Newington, Newington, Rockingham Co, New Hampshire, on 6 June 1773 by Rev. Joseph Adams.¹ She married at Parsonsfield, York Co, Maine,, circa 1793, John Lord, son of Nicholas Lord and Elizabeth Chick.^3,4 Sarah Huntress died on 14 March 1847 at age 73.^2,3

     John Lord was born at Berwick, York Co, Maine, on 15 November 1769.^3,2 He married at Parsonsfield, York Co, Maine,, circa 1793, Sarah Huntress, daughter of Nathan Huntress and Susanna Chick.^2,3 John Lord died on 25 June 1857 at age 87.^3,2

     Nicholas Lord was baptized on 8 March 1746/47.¹ He married, first, at South Berwick, York Co, Maine,, on 28 September 1765, at age 18, Elizabeth Chick.¹ Nicholas Lord died in 1828.¹
