     Dr. Leonard Huntress was born at Tewksbury, Middlesex Co, Massachusetts, on 25 September 1848.^{2,1,3,4,5,6,7,8} He was the son of Squire Leonard Huntress and Lydia Ann McKinnon.¹ Dr. Leonard Huntress married at Lowell, Middlesex Co, Massachusetts,, on 13 September 1881, at age 32, Elizabeth Osgood Eaglesham, age 19.^3,9,10,11 Dr. Leonard Huntress died at Lowell, Middlesex Co, Massachusetts, on 3 June 1927 (heart disease) at age 78.^12,13,14
     Dr. Leonard Huntress received a A.B. Degree from Harvard, in 1870.¹² He received a M.D. Allopath degree from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, New York, in 1874. At his death he was eastern vice-president of the Republic Coal & Coke Co. Harvard-educated and a formen newspaperman, Mr. Huntress was a one-time executive secretary of the Marion (O.) Chamber of Commerce. In the 1930s he was president of Appalachian Coals, Inc., Cincinnati.

     David Carroll Huntress was born at Evanston, Cook Co, Illinois, on 27 October 1946.^6,2,1,3,4 He was the son of Aveline Louise Bowman.^3,4,5 David Carroll Huntress married at Blue Earth Co, Minnesota,, on 30 August 1969, at age 22, Gwen Ellen Helgeson, age 22.^7,4,8 David Carroll Huntress died of respiratory arrest as a consequence of pancreatic cancer at 44 Sessions Road, Hardwick, Worcester Co, Massachusetts, on 16 July 1988 at age 41.^1,9,2,10,3,4
     "He attended Macalester College in Minnesota and the University of Wisconsin. He received his bachelor's degree in planning and his master's degree in landscape architecture from the University of Massachusetts.
He was a member of Gilbertville Trinitarian Congregational Church and served as a deacon, moderator, tri-parish committee chairman, Sunday school teacher and handbell ringer and was a member of the Finance and Organ committees. He was also a member of the church's First Friday Men's Club.
He was a member of the Hardwick Fair Committee, chairman of the Planning Board and a member of the Pathfinder Agri-Business Advisory Council."⁴ He resided at Minnesota say 1962.⁴ He resided at Wisconsin in 1964.¹ He resided at Hardwick, Worcester Co, Massachusetts, in 1968.⁴ He resided at Greenwick Road, Hardwick, Worcester Co, Massachusetts, between 31 August 1972 and 10 January 1983.^9,10,11,12 He resided at 44 Sessions Road, Hardwick, Worcester Co, Massachusetts, on 10 January 1983.^12,4

Joseph Adams.¹ He married say 1800, Phebe Russell.³ John Fabyan Huntress died on 13 September 1852 at age 76.³ He was buried at Huntress-Pratt Cemetery, Parsonsfield, York Co, Maine, Inscription reads:
"JOHN HUNTRESS / DIED / Sept. 13, 1852 / Ae. 76 yrs. 10 m 6 days."
     His farm in the north west corner of Parsonsfield, Me, on the south bank of the Ossipee river, was owned, 1920, by his granddaughter Idella M.⁷ (Huntress) Stewart.³ John Fabyan Huntress was a cordwainer at Parsonsfield, York Co, Maine, in 1800.³ John Huntress was listed as the head of a family on the 1810 Census at Parsonsfield, York Co, Maine. In his family were five males under 10 (Robert, John, Frederic, James and Nathan), one between 26 and 45 (John), and one female between 26 and 45 (Phebe).⁴ In 1812 John Fabyan Huntress conveyed property to and Phebe his wife conveyed lands devised to her by her father Thomas Chandler Russell late of North Yarmouth, ME.⁵ John Huntress was listed as the head of a family on the 1820 Census at Parsonsfield, York Co, Maine. In his family were two males under 10 years of age (Thomas and Silas), two between 10 and 16 (Frederic and James), one between 16 and 26 (Robert or John), one over 45 (John Fabyan, 44), one female under 10 (Sarah), and one between 26 and 45 (Phebe).⁶ John Huntress was listed as the head of a family on the 1830 Census at Parsonsfield, York Co, Maine. In his family were one male between 15 and 20 (Silas), one between 20 and 30 (James), one between 50 and 60 (John), one female less than 5 (Eliza), one between 15 and 20 (Sarah, 13), one between 20 and 30 (unk), and one between 40 and 50 (Phebe). Not listed were Mary, 9, and Thomas, 19, and Frederick, 25, who was probably at sea.⁷ John F. Huntress was listed as the head of a family on the 1840 Census at Parsonsfield, York Co, Maine. In his family were one male between 5 and 10 years of age (unk), one between 60 and 70 (John), one female between 15 and 20 (Mary), and one between 50 and 60 (Phebe). Eliza and Sarah were not enumerated.⁸ "John Huntress and wife, Phebe, came [to Parsonsfield] about 1800. He was born in Newington in 1775 and she at North Yarmouth in 1783."⁹
