This information is from the organizers, Ginnie and Scott Pirmann.
They can be reached at 814-692-SLED anytime or at apiranha@juno.com

Come for as many or as few days you can (or like).  Park in one place for the entire weekend.  Free hot water.   Free lodging for the first thirty-four registrants.  Campers encouraged.   Closed loop trails - private use, sled dog teams only.  Mechanized teams welcomed all four days.  Lots of opportunities for passing - overtake or head-on.  Forest trails, 10 feet or wider, rolling terrain.  Pick your distance.  You can run 1/4 mile or stay out there all day, and you are never more than 1/3 mile from the lodge!

Mushers are encouraged to come and stay all four days.  There are no tent, cabin, electric, shower, etc. fees.   We have sleeping accommodations for 34 persons.  Bring your own pillow, sleeping bag, and mug.  We eat together Friday night, Saturday and Sunday breakfast, and Saturday evening.  Saturday is our Pot Luck night.  There is no home Penn State Football game this weekend, so traffic should not be heavy.  Because of no game, we are going to eat at Hoss'es on Friday night.  Please tell us if you are coming for Friday or Saturday dinner, and HOW MANY are in your party.  Please give us an E.T.A.

There is NO SMOKING permitted in the lodge; however, smokers are encouraged to come and participate.  There is NO SCHEDULE of events.  Run 'em when and as many times, and as long as you want.   Rain/Snow/Excessive heat date is 29 Nov 2002.  Call to verify, if you have doubts.  We do not cancel for intermittent rain, only for floods.  To date, we have NEVER postponed or cancelled.

If you wish to camp out, that is fine.  Day trippers are welcome.  R.S.V.P.
