Hickory Willow is pleased to announce our annual Winter USS Meet. This year we will be hosting our meet on Friday January 8th ,Saturday, January 9rth and Sunday, January 10th. We are extending a warm welcome to all area swim clubs to join us for an exciting weekend at Stagg High School in Palos Hills.
When you get to the pool, pick up a meet packet at the Positive check-in table. It will include the Meet Psych Sheet, timeline of activities and relay cards. Additional meet programs will be available at the beginning of each session.
There is a positive check-in. Check in for swimmers ends at 7:30 A.M. and 30 minutes prior to the start of the afternoon session.
We will also have fly-over starts again this year. This will help us stay within the 4 hr time limit. Swimmers will be instructed of this procedure in the bull-pen.
Swimmers will not have heat and lane assignment cards. They will be lined-up in the bullpen and moved forward along the wall until their event starts. Meet programs will be posted along the wall for reference. The timers will also have the names of the swimmers for each event and heat. A heat will not start unless all swimmers are lined up or a swimmer is not in the area.
At the meet, if you have any questions please ask the meet referee, the computer personnel or our office staff.
