Please wait for pics. I have posted several because I want the buyer of this guitar to know exactly what they are getting. You're bidding on an Ibanez Jem77gmc electric guitar. This is an extremely rare green multi color swirl model made in Japan in 1991. I know I will regret selling this. There were only 366 original green multicolor Jem guitars made. It's a very rare original finish. This one has some very intense swirls and micro swirls in the paint job. The original multicolor swirl paint jobs were done by Darren of ATD in Japan. This comes from the line of guitars that Steve Vai endorses and has played religiously for years. This one is NOT mint. It has been played, but once you pick it up and plug it in - you'll know why. It plays and sounds amazing! Very smooth. Frets and fretboard are in excellent condition with little wear. The back of the neck is still pretty clean too and very smooth. The locking tremolo, pickups and tuners are all original. Dimarzio pickups that sound wonderful. There are a few chips along the edge of the body here and there that have been touched up. You have to look hard to see them. Nothing major on the face of the guitar.

If you are looking for a Multicolor Jem to play and that you won't have to worry about - this is the one! It's not a museum piece. It's been played like all Jems are meant to be. The color is strong and not faded. It looks great under the lights. It comes with the original UV1000 pink lined hard shell Ibanez case, that has some scuffs. The whammy trem bar and all the tools for the guitar will be included and I'm throwing in a pick from Jemfest. It also has the Dimarzio locking strap like Steve Vai uses. It has the beautiful green vine inlay on the fretboard and the last few frets are scalloped. The combination lock on the case has been professionally changed to a regular latch.

The worst thing about this guitar is a belt buckle wear spot on the back. Black paint is there, but the laquer and swirl on the spot is gone. It could probably be repainted there, but I've left it alone. The wear was done before I got the guitar. It certainly doesn't effect the sound or performance of the instrument. The clear pickguard was replaced at some point. The pickguard is from a Jem where the pickups mounted on the pickguard rather than the body like a multicolor. No big deal - you have to look hard to see it. A new stock guard would be around $50. Like I said, this isn't a museum piece, but it is what it is - a RARE green multicolor swirl that plays and sounds incredible. It's a very RARE finish. In perfect condition, this guitar would be worth at least $2,500, but I'm selling this one with the player's wear as is at NO RESERVE!!

You will love this Jem. This thing blows away any Fender stratocaster, telecaster or Gibson that I've played. It also sounds best through a Marshall or Soldano or Bogner amplifier. I use it through a small Fender Deluxe Reverb with a tubescreamer effect pedal and digitech WH-1 Whammy and it sounds great. Like Steve Vai says, "Ibanez makes the greatest guitars in the world." If in the US, buyer will add $40 for shipping and insurance. If outside the US email for shipping charge. Feel free to email any questions. Thanks! This is a good chance to get a very cool and rare swirl finish Jem guitar at a decent price. A swirl paint job like this is very unique. If you've always wanted a green multicolor Jem at an affordable price - here's your chance. Thanks for looking!
