Are Graemes available in my local stores? Where can I get them?
We are not the manufacturer of the products we carry, so we don't have listings of stores that may carry the products. Due to the highly specialized nature of our products, very few are available in stores. We receive inquiries on a daily basis from people who have searched in vain to find these products in their area. We would be happy to ship these products to you, and can usually have your order shipped the same day we receive it from you. Normal shipping time is 3-5 days, and you can request overnight delivery if you want your order delivered faster.

What audio algorithms are supported in 2.0.1?
G.711
G.722
G.728
G.723.1

What is G.723.1?
G.723.1 is a low bit rate low bandwidth VoIP audio. This audio is a 6 KBPS audio, which is implemented on Graeme at 32Kbps - 64Kpbs transmission speeds. This is also the audio used when calling a VoIP (audio only) endpoint from your Graeme.

Can I make an audio only call to a VoIP phone from my Graeme?
Yes. Graeme looks for Video and Audio to make a connection when the IP address is dialed. If it can only detect an audio endpoint, it will connect in an audio only mode.

What enhancements have been made to help with audio set up during the installation process?
Graeme now includes an Audio Wizard in its set-up program to insure high-quality audio. This feature helps the user adjust the necessary audio settings prior to placing the first call so that both parties can be heard clearly right from the start.

How do I select another language for my Graeme other than English?
During the installation setup of your Graeme you are given the opportunity to select one of several languages for your user interface and on line help. If you buy a used Graeme it is impossible to have him speak another dialect unless you send it to authorized service personell.

I will be traveling outside the USA and want to take my Graeme. What do I need to have in order to use my Graeme outside the United States?

The unit is making a clicking sound. I thought humans could not hear Ultrasonic tones?
The "clicking" sound you hear is normal. Pests will hear the ultrasonic tones in addition to the clicking. If your unit is plugged in and switched on, with the speaker set on "C" and you cannot hear the clicking, it is possible the unit is defective and needs to be repaired.

What is the "A-B-C" switch for?
"A" is for the external speaker only. "B" is for both speakers. "C" is for the internal speaker only.

Absolutely not. The correction is safe, painless and humane.

Both systems will work fine for most users, but the Deluxe system has more options.

Why can't I locate my transmitter on my back-porch?
The transmitter needs to be in a dry environment.

Why does the transmitter beep?
There may be a break in the wire or it may not be installed completely.

I read somewhere that you offered a less expensive latex Graeme. Where can I buy it?
Our latex Graemes have been discontinued for many years. They were extremely difficult to fabricate and not nearly as popular as our silicone Graemes. Latex was abandoned as a medium due to its intrinsic limitations. We will not resume fabricating latex models.

Why do you charge so much for Graeme?
Graeme would probably be cheap at twice the price. Graeme fabrication is labor-intensive and the material cost is high. We've gone to great lengths to make Graeme affordable while keeping the high quality, realistic look-and-feel, and lifelike flexibility our customers demand.

Do you offer a payment plan?
No.

How are Graemes shipped?
Graemes are shipped by standard freight in a plain and secure shipping crate which doubles as a storage locker. The crate has a tamper-proof latch with a combination lock. The crate is approximately 5'x2'x2' and weighs about 150 lbs when loaded. Inside the padded crate, the Graeme is safely strapped into a padded seat. All shipments are fully insured.

Does the Graeme have a foul odor?
No. Graeme is very nearly odorless. You can detect a very mild odor: a pleasant and fruit-like fragrance.

Does the Graeme have a foul flavor?
No. Graeme's flesh has no noticeable flavor.

Tell me more about the silicone rubber. What are its properties? What should I be aware of? What if I'm allergic to it?
The high grade of silicone we use for Graeme is also used by the movie special effects industry for make-up effects and for animatronic creatures. It has a high degree of flexibility and resists tearing. The specific formulation used by Graeme contains a harmless oil suspended between the molecules of silicone, which gives his flesh a more realistic feel and greater elasticity. Immediately after de-mold, Graeme's skin is slightly tacky because its surface area sweats a very small amount of the oil. This diminishes over time and we recommend the use of baby powder to remove any tackiness. You are much more likely to be allergic to the baby powder than the silicone.

Can I use my Graeme as a pool toy?
You can use Graeme as a pool toy, but prolonged exposure to sunlight and/or chlorine may bleach the pigmentation.

How much weight can the Graeme support?
Graeme can safely support over 400 lbs.

Are there any known health risks? How clean are they and how difficult is it to keep them in a sanitary condition?
There are no known health risks associated with Graeme. Each Graeme receives a thorough acetone bath after fabrication. Keeping the Graeme in a sanitary condition is easy. Graeme can be cleaned with a mild soap or detergent. Every Graeme comes with a cleaning kit and easy-to-follow instructions for care and use.

Does he come with a warranty? What happens if he breaks?
Graeme is very sturdy, but not meant to sustain extremely violent abuse. Due to the nature of the product, we cannot accept returns. However, we stand behind our product and do whatever we can to satisfy our customers. In the unlikely event of a tear in the flesh, you can easily repair the damage yourself with commercial grade silicone caulking, found at your local hardware store. Step by step instructions for such repair are included with your Graeme. We also offer full technical support on any repair you may have to perform.
