| Welcome to Guitar Park. This site features detailed photography of my guitars plus the coolest Ibanez models ever seen for sale or show on the net - the customs, the hotrods, the wrecks. Stay a while. |
| 2003.05.14 | People aren't to think I'm shallow. Or if they do, they must stop it at once! As such I added a small note on Gear Acquisition Syndrome or 'guitar fetishism'. My article is here and references this much better article. |
| 2003.04.15 | As threatened, updated high res photographs have been made available for more guitars like the MusicMan and the lumpy Jem 7DBK. This actually happened a while ago but I forgot to update the news because I'm easily distracted. I intend to... ooh! Domino's Dots! *vanishes* |
| 2003.02.06 | Many thanks to Mac guru Jeff Biggus of This Is... OSX, who helped me resolve some issues relating to the file size of images in Mac OSX. Through our (his) hard work we (he) discovered that Internet Explorer adds a great wadge of extra data to images downloaded with the app. Like 100s of Kb. Cue my immediate switch to OmniWeb. |
| 2003.01.15 | My beautiful Jem 77FP is gone. After a four month stint in Jemsite's classifieds, the near perfect Floral was traded to Chris Brayley for a black Parker Fly Deluxe on Jan 12. The Jem held a fantastic set-up, was used to record Flo and Eyahh Eek, and will be missed. Many tempting trade offers came in, including a Jem 7BSB and JS1000BTB, but I went for the Parker Fly to broaden my tonal horizons a little! Images and info for the slick-playing Parker will be here soon! |
| 2003.01.03 | The arrival of a pro digicam means I can finally update the old guitar pages with shiny new images that have excellent detail. As of today, the Power and Jem 777DY pages have been updated, the old jagged jpegs thrown away forever! The new pictures are coming out beautifully. The MusicMan is next. |
| 2002.12.19 | Lots of cool customs added to the appropriate section, though there were some casualties in order to make server space. Hope you enjoy all the cool new guitars. Looking into a Petrucci P3 (black and ivory) at the moment. Hey, it's nearly Christmas. |

Not an update so much as an apology for, um, not updating the site. Skinflints that they are, Comcast offers very little server space, and Guitar Park is suffering as a result. I have loads of cool new Ibanez customs to upload but things are so tight I can't fit them on the site! Going to have to throw away some old stuff... could get nasty. Apart from all that, the migration to Mac OSX here has made tinkering in HTML a bit more painful, but that will be sorted when I find a decent OSX-native editor. The Jem 77FP that I used to record Flo is up for trade on Jemsite. Lots of nice offers coming in (Prestige, Petrucci, JS1000 etc.) so there will surely be gorgeous new pics of some fresh catch before too long, if they'll fit on the damned server! Speaking of Flo, thanks to everyone who helped push me over 1000 plays for Christmas. Santa is bringing me a much more professional digital camera in the SLR style, so if I can sort out this space issue there will certainly be some extreme super macro close-ups and larger images. Merry Christmas. Stay frosty. -- Graeme |
| 2002.07.08 | Uploaded sexy pics of my new Yngwie Strat. Guitar arrived from South Carolina on July 3rd but it took a while to get photographs done. This one has the vintage white body color and maple neck (like The Duck had and the current crop of The Maestro's stage guitars have) and is actually very different to the older YJM Strat I have. Scallops much deeper (as there's no real fingerboard), vintage trem and heads, DiMarzio YJM pups (neck & mid) and enormous fret wire. Great sound. I just keep playing Icarus' Dream Suite over and over! More pics to come as I need more body shots. |

Added a link to my Artist Page on mp3.com. Please visit! I need to get the number of 'plays' up in order not to look quite so ridiculous for having spent endless hours recording these tacky guitar demos. Used this as an excuse to make cosmetic changes to the front end (menu screen) too, with the scrawly handwritten kind of font. Also, my payment has just reached a Jemsite buddy who is selling me his minty mint white/maple YJM signature Strat. Looks exactly like the guitars Malmsteen uses on the Concerto Suite DVD! Should be here this week! |

Guitar Park (and I) moved from the South of England to Connecticut, USA on March 4th, and now it's gone live via my new American provider, Comcast. They also give me cable modem access to the net. Happy day. For the new Guitar Park I've made a new front end (wiith the giant Jem background) and added bits n pieces like a links page and a FAQ. I've also updated the webcam page, especially since my broadband connection means I'll be able to use it more. But help! I've been in the US three weeks and still can't find bread that tastes like bread. What am I to do? |
| 2001.12.13 | Yngwie Malmsteen Strat arrived this morning from Germany in original tweed case. Rushed gallery online here. Scallops wonderful, pickups sound like Yngwie but really do need to get pumped up by a preamp/overdrive between the guitar and the amp. Can't believe how fast this thing is. |
| 2001.12.08 |
Fixed all (okay, most) of the broken links that popped up due to moving the site to NTL. ALSO! Received word from Micha in Germany that my latest eBay purchase, a sonic blue Yngwie Malmsteen signature series Fender Strat, is "on its way to England!" Scallops! HS-3 pickups! Yes! |
| 2001.12.05 |
The Move C&W's contract is up, so www.nikosan.cwc.net is down. I have been resurrected at the infinitely less cool address of homepage.ntlworld.com/ibanez.otaku but at least Guitar Park is still online! |

Created Super Deformed Graeme yesterday, liked him so much I've placed him at the front of the site to welcome all visitors. Made two wallpapers with him, available for download here. Don't worry, I'll find somewhere to put the little bear who fronted the site originally so we don't lose him. |

White Jem Online! The latest trophy of my costly eBay addiction, a regal Ibanez Jem 7VWH, has been added to Guitar Park. See the explicit photos here. Those not of a nervous disposition may like to view dismemberment images of the guitar with its strings and tremelo removed. YES! Four Jems and counting. Also, my Takamine acoustic was sold this week and as such has been removed from the Guitar Park page. Nine guitars in one room was getting too much, there had to be casualties! The Takamine's pages will remain active here for a little while. You know, out of respect. |
| 2001.06.01 | My favorite guitars from eBay (and a few from elsewhere) got their own section tonight, with pictures and original seller descriptions for each one. There are some VERY nice guitars here! The new section is called Sold & Scarred. |
| 2001.05.26 | Schöen's page has been removed today under order by Sony Music. The company believes the page depicts something other than a Michael Jackson lookalike. They are mistaken. |
| 2001.05.19 | The site got an overhaul today. Now it's simple: check out my guitars or gawk at Japanese idols, you choose! Don't worry, the Michael Myers pages can still be accessed HERE and there's a secret way in from the main pages... |
| 2001.04.27 | JEMDAY! I bought an Ibanez Jem 77FP and a Jem 7DBK from two different people and they both showed up today! First pics HERE! |
| 2001.04.16 | My friend Schöen, who has had extensive plastic surgery to look like Michael Jackson, has created his own web page HERE! |
| 2001.03.08 | The cover artwork for Stephen Whoriskey's project, titled Vile, is finished. You can see it HERE. |
