Gifs

Gifs are mostly like mini slideshows, at a predetermined speed. Like a flip-cartoon book. They enable motion with out Flash technology. Most smaller illustrations you see moving on the net are Gifs. Gifs can also enable you to have that cutout look on a picture.

Below are some samples of Gifs I've made for various reasons.

The one below, is over 1.5 Meg, hence the slow load time. This is also why Gifs can sometimes be a bad idea for motion. Flash is be a much better option for something like this.
