In addition to Breeding, I am also active in WAMAL, Washington Alaskan Malamute Adoption League.

Many people get this breed because they are so adorable as puppies. What they do not realize is that these cute puppies grow up, and require a regular exercise routine.

They also become bored when not given attention, and can become destructive.  the result is that the owners get mad, and get rid of the dog, NOT the problem.

If you want to own a Malamute, but do not want to raise one from puppy hood, please consider adoption. These dogs deserve a second chance, and a forever home.

You can also donate to WAMAL, to help defray the costs associated with taking these dogs in, and getting them all the medical care needed, such as vaccinations, and having them spayed and neutered. the donation is Tax Deductible, as we are a Non Profit Organization.
