Wu xiu
Born in China, Wu Xiu was an ordinary girl living with her loving family when, at a very young age, she witnessed the murder of her parents. Vowing revenge on the thugs who committed this crime, she spent her teen years training in Japan. As she trained her inherent powers awakened, allowing her to regenerate her wounds taken in battle. Under Lord Recluse's mentorship and guidance, Wu Xiu found and killed those responsible for her parents' murders. Afterwards she realized that the assistance given by Lord Recluse came at a price: he expected her to use her hard one combat art and abilities to fight the heroes of Paragon City. Bothered by her conscious for the killings she had already committed, she betrayed Lord Recluse and sided with the heroes to defeat the menace that spawned from the Rogue Isles. Recruited by Rivven Forest into the I.C.O.N. group, Wu Xiu now trains hard in her dedication to overcome her early transgressions. And in her heart she knows that she is also looking for vengeance again...this time against Lord Recluse and all he stands for.
And for those who knew her in Recluse's pay, she was once known as Crimson Lotus.
