ABOUT THE IFDG
The IFDG is an informal collaboration of international combat choreographers, professional martial artists, fight directors and arrangers, and stunt coordinators and performers. As a collaborative group, members are not required to pay membership fees, abide by a specific set of rules, or to pledge allegiance.
As a collaborative guild, the IFDG welcomes fight professionals from all over the world to take part in forum discussions on various subjects related to combat choreography, to offer advice, and to share opinions and information. Guild affiliates are as diverse in their backgrounds as they are in their areas of expertise. With professional stunt combatants, fight directors for theatre, television and film, re-enactors and masters of the history and sport of weaponry, the IFDG is an eclectic group with similar aims, objectives and attitudes within the profession.
