Taste And See

O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.
Psalm 34:8   KJV

My mother and my wife were good cooks. I can recall from my childhood days, after mom had prepared something that smelled very good she sometimes said to me, "Taste and see." My wife did the same thing and sometimes after preparing something special or my favorite food, she would say, "Taste and see." So it is with the Lord. He has many things prepared for all of us and the word of God says, "Taste and see". The Lord is good! Even more important and better than the things that God has prepared for us is the relationship with the Lord himself.
