ABOUT US

32" face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif" color="#FFFFFF">Twenty One years of Importing Folk Art

.
I first went to Peru in 1984 to buy hand-knitted, wool and alpaca clothing. Then, boatloads of sweaters and mountains of mittens later, I decided to concentrate on one-of-a-kind folk art, religious art, hand-woven textiles, ethnographic jewelry and books.

Though I specialize in Tribal art,
I buy and sell anything handmade, unique or collectible. I don't believe that to succeed in business I have to win at the expense of others or sell out my ideals. I try to sell at a fair price and still make a profit so it can be a win-win experience for us both.

my Ebay auctions. I'm proud to offer top quality items with no exaggerated claims or dishonest descriptions. If I am uncertain about the age or origin of a piece I will say so. Unlike manufactured goods, it can be difficult to pinpoint the age of some handcrafted objects. I think you have to look at 100 different examples of an object before you begin to develop your eye.

Restoration Services-If you have folk art items needing repairs or conservation, please email me. I do occasional outside work.

PLEASE Email  me a photo of any good items you have for sale.
