An important source of information can be the Family Bible. The Kilts Bible is a record of the Joseph (James, Sr., Joseph) Ingalls and Mary (Nicholas, Conrad) Kilts family. In addition to members of their union, the Bible may have been used to record additional information. It is of interest to note that entries use the Ingols spelling and the early entries are exactly the same as 1850 US Census, Town of Lenox, Madison County, NY, visit 323. This would be a location on Creek Road.
