| AN ACT | ||||||
| Granting a pension to John Hoffman, of Madison county, in the | State of New York. | |||||
| 1 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa- | ||||||
| 2 tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, | ||||||
| 3 That the Secretary of the Interior be, and is hereby, directed | ||||||
| 4 to place the name of John Hoffman, of Madison county, in | ||||||
| 5 the State of New York, on the pension roll, at the rate of | ||||||
| 6 eight dollars per month, to commence from and after the pas- | ||||||
| 7 sage of this act, and to continue during his natural life. | ||||||
