This issue concludes the first volume, and the first year of publishing the newsletter, dedicated to sharing information on the surnames INGALLS, INGALL, INGELL, INGLES, INGLIS, INGLE, ENGEL and Allied lines. An index was promised and it has been started as a cumulative index. The enclosed index is by surname, given name and page number, and covers Volume 1, Numbers 1, 2 and 3. No. 4 will have its own index. Starting with the March, 1985 issue, each issue will be indexed and will be added to the cumulative index file. As the newsletter grew, it became apparent that for quick reference, each issue will need an index. If you have any questions or comments on this procedure, please let me know.
(e-editor: The cumulative index is not included. Please use the search engine, or Ctrl+F (Edit/Find from your browser menu) to search a particular issue.)
FAMILY CHARTS. BIBLE RECORDS. FAMILY STORIES ... please continue to submit your family histories, either in chart form or as you have found them recorded. Linda Wright and I are working together on gathering this material for a supplement to Burleigh's earlier book on the History of the Ingalls Family in America. If you are not sure if or how you may be related to Edmund Ingalls, Linda and I will try to assist you.
