This list of recovery meetings is intended to make it possible for pharmacists to find a peer group meeting both locally and throughout the country. We also hope that treatment professionals and other groups, boards, or organizations may find the list useful in directing their recovering clients or members (or those in need of recovery) to a peer group meeting. Note that, for the purposes of this list, it is our specific intention to not include regularly scheduled meetings of various Anonymous Fellowships that may welcome pharmacists to their meetings; local offices of these Fellowships should be contacted for that information.
It is most important to note that IPA has no local chapters as such, and neither endorses, controls, nor specifically recommends any particular meeting in this list. Each meeting is autonomous, and individual meetings may have very different formats and/or varied membership.
Please also note that this list is useful only if the information in it is up-to-date and accurate. It is absolutely essential that we be notified of any errors in or changes to a listing as soon as possible .
As each meeting's membership and format depend upon the group's collective conscience, it is essential that no assumptions be made regarding the degree of anonymity or confidentiality that exists within any individual group.
