Welcome to the World of Cub Scouting:
Cub Scouting is a family- and home-centered program for boys in the
first through fifth grade (or 7, 8, 9, and 10 years old). Cub Scouting's
emphasis is on a quality program at the local level, where the most boys and
families are involved.
Pack 443 serves the families of Gombert Elementary School in Aurora, IL. Our focus is on creating a supportive and interactive environment where our youth can explore the world around them and grow to live by the Ideals of Scouting. Emphasis is placed on Doing One's Best, showing Citizenship, showing Respect for One's Religious Affiliation, and Helping Others.
Note to the Parents
We at Pack 443 encourage our parents to take this opportunity to get involved with your youth through the Cub Scouting program. While today's demands limit the time we have available, support and involvement can take many forms. Involvement can be as small as providing ideas for pack events, to acting as a helper during pack events, to doing a presentation about your career or hobby. Or, if you choose, you can make larger contributions from coordinating an event once a year to becoming a full Adult Leader. All participation is appreciated. What is important is that parents get involved with their son's experience. If you can contribute, please contact the pack leadership.
