Introductory Flights- $40


Power up, lines clean, cells open, full throttle!
Within moments you are free of earths bonds...You are in the air and flying!!  There is nothing like it and it is pure exhilaration!


Introductory flight:
This 15 to 20 minute flight is for anyone who has never flown in a Powered Parachute, and would like to see if Powered Parachuting is for them.
These flights are by appointment only.
Prerequisites: under 275 lbs and mature enough to consider flight training
Cost: $40.00

Powered Parachute Pilot Course:  $500.00

Comprehensive course that goes beyond the basics.  There are 3 parts; ground school, pre-flight, and  in-flight training.

Ground School:

  • Basic Meteorology. Learning about high and low pressure systems, fronts, wind forecasting, and more

  • Radio procedures for operating at or near airports

  • Airport Etiquette and Traffic Patterns

  • Airspace familiarization

  • Navigation and the use of charts

  • Flight Preparation

  • Aircraft knowledge

Pre-Flight Inspection:

  • Readying the aircraft and yourself for flight

  • Canopy (wing) inspection and layout methods 

  • Engine warm-up and instrumentation monitoring

In-Flight Training: (the FUN stuff!)

  • Taxi-ing the aircraft

  • Kiting the chute

  • Take-Offs

  • In-flight maneuvers

  • Landing

  • Power Off landing

Solo course can be completed in 8-10 hours.
