Can I be positive that my destination is heaven after I die?

Yes.  The Bible says, “These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God;  that ye may KNOW that ye have eternal life..” (I John 5:13) 

If I do good deeds and be a good person will I get to heaven?

I have good news! It is not by our own merit that we get to heaven.  The Bible says: “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.” Ephesians 2:8-9 

God does not want us to boast in heaven.  He wants us only to boast about Jesus and what He did on the cross for us. 

Well, if it isn’t by my good deeds or my own merit, how does someone get to heaven?

I am glad you asked.  It is as easy as A, B, C:

 A – Admit.  Admit that you are a sinner.  “For all have sinned and have come short of the glory of God.” (Romans 3:23)

 B – Believe.  Believe that Jesus died for your sins. “For God commendeth his love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:8)

 C – Confess.  “If thou wilt confess with the mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou wilt be saved.” (Romans 10:9)

Will you change your path today by saying a prayer like this?

Dear God, I am a sinner, Thank you that Jesus Christ died for me on the cross and paid the penalty of my sin.  I ask him to be my Lord and Savior today.  

It's imperative that you grow.  Just as you give sunshine and water to plants to make them grow, you need similar care of your Christian walk.  Let the Son shine on you (Jesus) and water your life with the words of the Bible.
