REQUIREMENTS FOR BREEDING (MATING)

1.    Any bitch that you would like to breed with Chesty must have an abode where she resides within 50 miles of Denver, Colorado so that the owner of the bitch can personally bring the bitch to us for breeding.  The reasons we require this is so the bitch is not shipped via airlines since the process is complicated and expensive for you and us and is a traumatic experience for a boxer bitch in estrus to go through especially in extremely hot or cold weather.

2.  When you bring your bitch to us she must be registered with the A.K.C. (American Kennel Club) and the owner of said such bitch must provide proof of registration by providing us with an authentic A.K.C. Registration Certificate of the bitch as proof of registration with the A.K.C., (photo-copies are not accepted). We will record the necessary information of your authentic A.K.C. Registration Certificate and return it to you before you leave.

3.  All bitches must be in tact and not spayed and free from any genetic diseases or natural diseases.  Please bring any health records etc., for your bitch when you come.

4.  You must bring your bitch to us as soon as possible after she goes into estrus.  Estrus lasts about 21 days, but bitches are generally only able to conceive from about day 9 to day 14. Individual cycles and fertility periods can vary.  When you leave your bitch with us we will keep her for the full 21 days from the time you drop her off.  You will be required to pick your bitch up between the 22nd and 30th day after you have dropped her off.  If you do not pick your bitch up we will not keep her past the 30th day.  Once the dam is impregnated the gestation period before the dam whelps in most large breeds is 63 to 65 days.

5.  Upon leaving your bitch with us you will be required to pay us a $600.00 breeding fee in full for the breeding of your bitch.  We accept only Cash or US Postal Service Money Orders.  Should you decide to hire Chesty to breed with your bitch that you like we will be happy to put pictures of your bitch and her litter on this website.  You can e-mail us pictures in jpg format or bring the litter and/or bitch to our home so we can photograph them and/or her and if you like we can list your phone number and the prices of the pups you have for sale and also display any Official AKC Pedigree you have for the bitch three or six generation included in $600.00 breeding fee.
