Maryanne Rainbow Sharman, also known as Rainbow The Magic Clown started performing in 1977 on a volunteer basis, entertaining mostly at hospitals, nursing homes, and children's centers. It was so enjoyable, she was inspired to make it her life's play.

After five fun-filled years of clowning around, Rainbow started performing professionally, adding new skills and characters along the way.

Rainbow has enjoyed performing all over the world. Some places Rainbow has had the pleasure of performing include casinos, picnic grounds, stadiums, department stores, parades, night clubs, malls, schools, amusement parks, and restaurants. She has also performed in murder mysteries, corporate and private events such as company picnics, birthday, bar/bat mitzvah, and holiday parties.
