I just love this kind of stuff. P.R.I.M.E. (Pacific Rim International Model Engineering) shows up at the Lane County Fair grounds once a year with all sorts of really incredible miniature power plants. All work and the exhibitors are encouraged to "fire them up" from time to time.

would liked to have heard this one fired up. The guy was kind of skiddish about
it (I think he was having problems with it) but really cool none the less.
The
on/off switch is still full sized :o)

the dies for the timing chain covers. These are real!

Really
loud, but on those hot September afternoons it makes quite a nice breeze :o)

My
favorite. You'll need some extra space on your desk, though.
