Vicki

Vicki was born in Daniel freeman hospital in Inglewood California on July 16, 1966.

She was a beautiful in sweet little girl. Jack and Char were quick to observe the difference between the “all boy” Timothy and the “all girl” Vicki. Vicki was sweet and quiet and never caused any mischief. As she grew older, she was quickly able to defend herself against her brother Timothy who was sometimes a bit reckless and pushy.

Vicki’s first home was in the Vitelli residence in Hawthorne California.

Then in late 1967, the Vitelli family moved to the USAF Academy where Jack became an instructor of mathematics. They lived in a four bedroom government housing unit in Pine Valley on the grounds of the Academy.

After living at the USAF Academy in Colorado for 2 1/2 years, the Vitelli family moved to a home they purchased on Bloomington Avenue in South Minneapolis. The address was 5247 Bloomington Avenue South and it was within three blocks of Lake Nokomis.

The Vitelli family then built a home at 1750 Vivian Lane in W. St. Paul in 1971. Vicki lived for 17 years at the Vitelli home on Vivian Lane in West St. Paul. It was there that she began kindergarten at Garlough School and then attended Saint Joseph’s Elementary School from 1st through 8th grade.

Vicki was a good student and did extremely well in grade school. She played trumpet in Mr. Merle Danielson’s band at Saint Joseph’s School.

The Vitelli family, after returning home to Minnesota, began to spend a week each summer at Kabekona Lake and Kabekona Bay of Leech Lake. That is where Vicki learned to fish and really enjoyed catching the northern pike.

Vicki then moved to Archbishop Brady High School where she completed four excellent years of high school and graduated in 1984. She was a cheerleader for Brady High School and also played a trumpet in the Brady band. At this time Vicki also became a certified life guard and earned a nice income as a life guard at the South St. Paul Municipal Pool.

After completing high school, Vicki spent her first year of college at the College of St. Thomas. She then went on to the University of Minnesota where she spent four years and graduated with a B.S. degree in occupational therapy.

Vicki continued her education at the university of Saint Thomas where she received and advanced degree (M.A.) in early childhood special education. Using her education, Vicki now works as an occupational therapist and the S school district 191.
Vicki’s favorite hobbies are sewing, scrap booking, and gardening. Vicki has been sewing since she was 12 years old and is rather advanced. She has also done quilting, adopting some of the skills of Char.

Vicki’s favorite activities are interior decorating of their home, watching her three boys play in sporting events, and going to the Vitelli lake home at Pine Lake Minnesota. Watching her boys play sports takes a lot of time because the boys are all very active in hockey, football, baseball, soccer and lacrosse.
