Oct. 4th 2003 Meet Results
On Saturday, October 4th we traveled to Belvidere for our first USATF meet of the season, the Bevidere Invitational. The weather was sunny, in the mid-60's with a ligh breeze. Our competition included teams from Aurora, Belvidere, Elgin, Rockford and Winnebago, along with a few unattached runners.

Thomas Olache represented us well in the 3000m bantam boys race with a 6th place finish in 13:12. Murphy Kurth ran the 3000m midget girls race in 13:45, good for 9th place. Daniel Olache and Mike Schmidt paired up to place 10th and 11th in the 3000m midget boys race, with times of 13:17 and 13:26, respectively. Josh Stein and Stephan Jurgens placed 8th and 9th in the 4000m youth boys race with times of 15:29 and 15:38, followed by Paul Jurgens (18:22) and David Allen (19:39) in 18th and 20th.
