October 7th 2004 Away Meet
On this Thursday we traveled to St. Charles Haines middle school for a triangular meet with St. Charles Haines and St. Patricks.

All the runners were combined into one 1.7 mile race. Murphy Kurth was our first girl with a 31st place showing in 12:30. Carly Schottes ran a tough 15:07 good for 58th place.

For the boys, Stephan Jurgens lead our team with a fine 2nd place (9:38) performance, a mere one and a half seconds behind the first place Haines runner. Robbie Blotter captured 7th in 10:36 followed by Tom Olache's 10th place finish in 10:53. Dan Olache and Peter DeJongh were our fourth and fifth runners, placing 15th and 16th in 11:16 and 11:23, respectively. Mike Schmidt ran a very strong race garnering 19th in 11:29. He was followed closely by Mike Baglieri in 22nd with an 11:34 clocking. Rapidly improving Shaun Berendt finished 24th with an 11:53. Will Deuerling concluded our scoring with a 34th place result in 12:43.
