THE SEEMINGS

Childlings

The Springtime of Faerie life, childlings are, to put it simply, children. Ranging from ages as young as five or six to as old as twelve or thirteen, the childlings of the Fae have the strongest grasp on the dreaming, they understand it and live it more than any others.

Wilders

Representing Summer, wilders are the most energetic of the Changelings. Ranging in age from thirteen or fourteen to twenty four to twenty five, these Faeries are the 'movers and shakers' of faerie society. Quests, romances, adventures and tragedies are all a part of thier lives. Many grumps comment that "Wilder is appropriate" as a name for them as they do tend to be more inclined to try anything once than either childlings or grumps.

Grumps

Very few Changelings survive to reach this age. Banality weighs down a faerie in the autumn of his life and the mists cause them to forget thier faerie nature before they reach twenty five or twenty six years of age. Preferring to be called by titles like Elder, Greybeard or Granddame, these changelings are not known for thier adventuresome ways, but rather for a certain (often hard earned) wisdom.
