Judges Score Sheets
This page describes how we are scored when we compete. We need 65 SQS (Standard Qualifying Score) points to make it to the OSAA State Dance & Drill Championships - here's how we earn those points. You can see for yourself what the judges are looking for and why it's so important to be exactly the same!
There are 3 categories we are judged in: Execution, Content and Overall Effect. Look at content - Maneuvering and Floor Patterns hold more points than choreography (weird) but that's why I am trying to get you into specific shapes. Look at Overall Effect - where are you looking to grab the audience?
