Congratulations to Emily and Caroline for satisfying all requirements to participate in OSAA All State Try-outs.  January 17 and 18, 2010 at David Douglas High School.  Coaches go with you the first day, Parents attend with you next day.  Click for more information.

Summer Congratulations!

The Newberg High School Tiger Riot Dance Team returned with accolades and awards from 2009 Summer Dance Camp held at the University of Portland.

Newberg Sr. Captain Emily Broadwell received a 1st place trophy from Blazer Dancer Head Coach Michelle Woodard in Advanced Jazz. Jacqueline Baltzell received a 1st place trophy from Portland’s AWol Dance Troop Artistic Director Jen Harbaugh in Advanced Contemporary Jazz. Jacqueline also earned a place on the ThunderBird All Star Team!

The camp hosted 22 teams and over 400 competitors from Oregon, Washington and Alaska. Newberg’s Crysta Miller, Caity Dittman, and new freshman Kyndra Costin received trophies in Beginning Jazz.
