Services

Sunday Church Service 10:30 a.m.

This service features hymns, prayers, and a Bible Lesson from our Pastor—the Bible and Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, by Mary Baker Eddy. During the week, Christian Scientists around the world unite in study and prayer with one Bible Lesson; on Sundays, Readers elected by the individual congregations present it for the service.

  Sunday School 10:30 am
Our Sunday School welcomes young people up to age twenty. Loving teachers work with the Ten Commandments, Jesus’ Beatitudes, the Lord’s Prayer, and the weekly Bible Lesson—all with the purpose of leading thought up to God and reasoning from a spiritual standpoint.

Wednesday Testimony Meeting 7:30 p.m.

Hymns, prayers, selected readings, and testimonies from members of the congregation form this midweek service. Each week a unique selection of passages from the Bible and Science and Health provides a spiritual perspective on a subject of current interest. Afterwards, individuals share their love of God and experiences in relying on His presence and care, including physical healing.

MBE An AppreciationMary Baker Eddy was born in Bow, New Hampshire, of Puritan ancestry. She expressed from early childhood a spiritual hunger which caused her to turn to God and to the Bible. In 1866, in need of healing, she discovered the divine law of Truth in Christ Jesus' teachings -- the law which she later named Christian Science. From that time forward, her life goal was to convey this healing truth to others. Between 1866 and 1910, Mary Baker Eddy wrote Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures and other writings on Christian Science and founded the Church of Christ, Scientist, and its periodicals, including The Christian Science Monitor, an international daily newspaper.
