Fred Thompson on the Economy -- Some Holiday Cheer

For any Liberals that might watch this video, it is satirical. That means that it really isn't serious--humerous, yes; serious, no.

Thought for the Day

Where else but in America (and perhaps some European countries) does the government allow women to choose whether or not to have an abortion, but does not allow them to choose the kind of light bulbs to use in their homes?

In This Case, No News is Bad News

For readers who are interested in following closely the question regarding Barack Obama’s constitutional eligibility to serve as U.S. President, the issue has not gone away. Interested parties are waiting for the outcome of this week’s U.S. Supreme Court conference that is expected to decide if that Court will hear the case.

Meanwhile, the folks over at WorldNetDaily are following the case on a daily basis and provide probably the best source of information. They are also undertaking grassroots efforts to force Obama to produce definite proof of his Hawaiian birth, in the form of his original birth certificate. Thus far he has refused to do so, for reasons unknown other than his stated concern for his own privacy.

Blogger Jeff Schreiber at America’s Right is also following developments and offering legal opinion, but has been unable to devote as much time and effort and he would like.
