Why Vote for Bush and What’s Wrong With Kerry

The “War on Terror”, of which the War in Iraq is just one campaign, is by far the most critical issue facing America today. Continued success in this overall effort will provide America with the opportunity to focus on the many other issues that are being discussed this election year, such as the economy, education, health care, social security, and so on. Failure in the primary issue would relegate the secondary issues as mute. This is not to say that we should neglect the secondary issues, but our main focus must continue to be on the defeat and destruction of the Islamic Jihadists that threaten our very way of life. President Bush recognizes this, and his focus has not wavered.  John Kerry prefers to reduce the importance of defeating terrorism by simply reducing it to a “nuisance” level, while at the same time subverting American interests and security to “the international community”, i.e., the United Nations.  At this point in our history, we need a strong, consistent, and principled leader who recognizes what needs to be done, then does it, rather than a nuanced, indecisive, and elitist fashion plate.

On the domestic front, we always need a leader such as George Bush who places a higher priority on creating an environment of personal opportunity and individual responsibility, rather than one like John Kerry who dwells on victimization, class warfare, and governmental solutions to all of society’s problems.
