I was born in Sacramento, California and my family moved to Las Vegas, Nevada when I was about 6, where I spent most of my child, teen and young adult years.  I had a natural talent for music and I started classical piano lessons when I was 6 and continued my studies through my teens and enjoyed playing keyboards and guitar in many bands as a aspiring teen musician.

After graduating High School in Las Vegas, I went to UNLV  to study music and philosophy, and received my Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. I worked various jobs between classes and after graduation, I decided to get serious and dedicate more time to my piano studies and music career.

During my mid 20's and early 30's, I was in several show bands playing keyboards and toured the mid-west show circuit working with many different bands and through various music agencies. I was involved in music full time during those years, but the money was not enough to warrant staying on the road.

In the early 80's, I decided to put my music career on hold and go back to school to learn about computers. After completing school, I got involved in the computer industry and have continued working in that industry for over 20 years.  Music will always be an important serious hobby for me and my pursuit of composing, performing, and recording, will always continue in my life.

Las Vegas Strip ~2004~

Growing up in Las Vegas, gave me the opportunity to see some of the worlds best performers on stage, in many of the best hotel showrooms and lounges.  I have had extraordinary experiences through the years of seeing great performers live on stage like Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Jerry Lewis, Liberace, Elvis,  The Jackson 5, Ella Fitzgerald, Jose Feliciano, Wayne Newton, and many other great performers. Seeing those great talents on stage as a young adult, made a great impression on me and has positively influenced my music career.

For my day job, I work in the computer industry and have for over 20 years. I am an Instructional Designer and develop online training programs.

I enjoy the work and the process and have learned a lot about producing instructor lead and web based training courses, storyboarding, and content development.

Instructional Design is the development of training courses and curriculum design. The process of Instructional Design covers the analysis, design, development, evaluation and delivery of web based and instructor led training courses.

I have years of experience in application consulting, programming, and worked in many other facets of the computer industry. I was also a corporate software instructor for over 12 years.

I relocated to Seattle in 2004 and a happy homeowner in Renton and enjoy the South Sound area. When I am off work, I workout when I can, stay active, inside or outside and enjoy outdoors when the weather is cooperating or it's raining.

I enjoy listening to music and practice on my instruments, compose and record new songs while performing on stage with local bands.

I enjoy great food ( love Indian and Thai food )  great wines and I love to cook. I enjoy traveling the area to see and experience new things.

As for other interests, I have many that include reading and doing research on the subject of 'Light and Energy' and study 'Eastern Philosophy'.  I also like to write short stories and have completed a few in recent years.

Saxon "Scepter" Custom

One of my other new hobbies is to ride my motorcycle. A Saxon Scepter. It's a great ride and has plenty of muscle.

It has been great during the summer months taking rides on weekends and going to event runs with others, or explore out on my own. I have a great time taking rides in the country and site-seeing new places and I look forward to getting out on the open road again.
