More about my musical Career :

I have been involved in the music industry for over 35 years. As an 7 year old growing up taking piano lessons, I studied  classical piano until I was 16. Continuing to play keyboards, I put together the "Spectrum Band", that took first place in the Nevada J.C. State Fair “ Battle of the Bands “ competition in 1971. I then toured the Midwest club circuits playing Keyboards with many rock and show bands through the years, including numerous studio-recording projects. I decided to study Bass Guitar in 1980 while continuing with my Keyboard studies.

In 1986, I designed , owned and managed VectraSound  Recording Studios in Las Vegas.  While operating VectraSound , I had the opportunity to learn engineering, producing and recording techniques as well as producing my own and other band projects. After my involvement with VectraSound, I decided to pursue a solo recording career. My first CD titled " Inside the Wave " has not been released, but is complete. I am currently working on my second Solo CD project called " Point to Infinity ".

Continuing with my solo musical efforts, I have been playing and performing with numerous rock and jazz bands in Las Vegas area for over 30 years. From 1998 thru 2000, I was holding down the Bass guitar duties with "Jazz Alive" a local jazz trio and co-produced the CD "Just Us" for the band.

In 2001, I was in Seattle Washington for six months working with a 7 piece band the "Big Dog Revue"  featuring the "Boner Horns". The Big Dog Revue is a great horn band and play a variety of dance and R&B tunes. I was the sound production engineer for the band and operated the sound board and effects for the band live.

In summer of 2002, I had relocated to Greensboro, North Carolina through a  job relocation. I enjoyed the area and it was fun to visit the East coast and experience some of that "southern hospitality". During my year stay in Greensboro,  I devoted more time to composing songs for my new CD.

In the spring of 2003, I moved from Greensboro, and relocated back to the west coast to Sacramento, California. I had a great opportunity to play with a R&B band called The Sexy-On Band featuring Miss Sonya Moore, who is an outstanding vocalist.

June of 2004 took me back to Seattle Washington, where I am working for a great company and have made Seattle my home.  I live in Renton and have been playing with many local Seattle based variety bands.
I am also continuing my work in the studio on my CD and writing new songs.

A few musicians and mentors that have inspired my Bass playing :  Stanley Clark, Victor Wooten, Nathen East, Marcus Miller, Chris Squire, Getty Lee, Ray Brown, Christian McBride, Jimmy Haslip, Jaco Pastorious, Kim Stone, Anthony Jackson, and others in contemporary Jazz and Rock genres.
