After a few years in college, I learned a little about using excel. In the process, I've made some pretty nice spreadsheets. Here I will post a few that I have worked on, for your general usage. Please contact me with and suggestions with any and all of these. Enjoy!
Some of the excel files may be uploaded to this website as a .zip file, in order to save you time when downloading them. If you have issues opening the file, use a program like WinZip or WinRar to extract them.

This spreadsheet does some calculations for the cost of running a welder. You need to know a few things about the welder and such, but its a good general thing to look at if you're curious about how much money you are wasting when using your welder:
This spreadsheet was made for calculating gear ratios forwards and backwards. Given a set of gears, you can calculate the speed of a vehicle. Or given a speed, rpm, and transmission gear, you can find out the most efficient final drive gear ratio. You can even find what transmission gear you want based on speed, rpm, and final drive ratio. There is also a page for tire size conversions from metric to standard, and vice-versa. Enjoy:
