HP – Software & Hardware Test Technician / Data Base Business Administrator              2001-2002

·         Tested and evaluated DVD CD writer hardware and software compatibility then entered and recorded defects into
tracking system.

·         Worked with vendors and engineers to correct and resolve issues.  Ensuring defect free software builds for the HP
Pavilion PC, while meeting tight schedules.

·         Windchill Data Base Administrator – Tested, evaluated and configured web based parts/revision tracking database. 
Trained 200+ users on operation of the system, with excellent evaluation and immediate implementation.


HP – Prototype PC Technician III                                                                                                     1995-2001

·         Assembled prototype PC’s per schedule, loaded software, insured proper operation and distributed to R & D engineers
and vendors.

·         Maintained and organized stockroom, parts inventory and defect tracking system.  Increased accuracy and reduced
product retrieval time.

·         Developed and maintained department web pages and inventory tracking system utilizing Microsoft FrontPage,
Access 97, and Dreamweaver.

·         Worked with  R & D product  software/hardware engineers and vendors to maintain product integrity.

·         Provided technical and assembly direction to less experienced  R & D engineers and supervised PC assemblers.

·         Organized and implemented scrap and excess equipment programs, resulting in a 50% decrease in storage space.

·         Designed, set up and maintained Prototype labs (3) and R & D stockroom, from Pavilion PC startup to present position
as world leader.

 

HP – Electronic Maintenance Tech II / Support Delivery Customer Engineer                          1982-1995

·         Performed onsite service, support and repair  for Hewlett Packard’s production/office computing environment.

·         Repaired and maintained RTE, UNIX systems, laser printers, Windows PC’s and their associated peripherals.

·         Established and maintained maintenance files, procedures, and parts inventories

·         Scheduled repair calls, coordinated moves and relocation activities with site IT, completing on schedule

·         Maintained site security system, and cameras utilizing 50ft. bucket lift.
