Jahan Book Company was established in 1980 as a publisher and supplier
of Persian and English books about 
Iran
and the Middle East. In addition, we have a growing collection of books
in Azeri, Turkish and Kurdish, as well as books about the Newly Independent
States of Central Asia. We currently have over 12,000 titles and
serve clients in both the domestic and international markets. We have published
over 30 books and our latest title is Death of the Usurer (Marg-I
Sudkhor) by Sadreddin Aini, edited by Hasan Javadi.
Special orders are accepted and we will try to locate a title which is not in our inventory. We also have a number of very rare books for which a list can be supplied upon request.
Orders can be placed by telephone, facsimile, or correspondence. Delivery of orders is normally by mail or UPS, the cost of which is added to the price of the books. (Maryland residents add 5% sales tax). Payment can be made by money order or personal checks in U.S.dollars. Prices are valid for 1996, unless due to unavailability the book has to be reordered.
