The It's a Jungle Out There! notebook includes a unit to increase the students' background knowledge about rainforest flora and fauna. The competition challenges include a Dr. Dootoomuch, a boat powered by electric, pneumatic or mechanical energy that can "cruise" the Amazon, a jungle band, and the day in the life of a jungle person!
