Managing your own finances?

Everybody on the web knows about Yahoo's financial pages.  If you really want help at managing your portfolio try these sites:

  • Morningstar.Com has become very valuable.  They are well known for their fund work and recently added stock evaluation to their portfolio of help for investors.  You need to join and pay for the complete package of support but it is worth it!  http://www.morningstar.com/

  • The Financial Engines web site will analyze your portfolio and predict the growth and income from your investments:  https://www.financialengines.com/    An excellent way to determine if you can retire!!!

  • If you want to manage the risk in your portfolio, use RiskGrades.  Check this site out: http://www.riskgrades.com/  Created by a consortium of major financial companies to help investors understand the risk they were accepting for each security when investing!

Each of these sites offer free, fully secure, interactive analysis of your investments.  These sites were created by well recognized experts and do provide well supported analysis models for your complete understanding of the methodology.
I advise anyone to try these out....

Other financially related sites that have value:

    • Do you want Insider information -- http://www.insidertrader.com/
