Like most families we have many heritage flags to fly over our house

Joan and I have been lucky enough to have time to travel and our hobbies continue to grow.  

This infernal computer continues to take up too much time but it did allow me to create this site.  And of course I am setting up a site for my wife, Joan, as well. 

These are some of my interests and links to some web sites that I enjoy:

• Genealogy -  for mystery lovers, Joan is the best detective in our house but I have been fairly successful in finding ancestors  

• Traveling -  the US or Europe provides great enjoyment.  Our next goal is Italy, but we really loved our trips to England and Ireland and Scotland.

• Dining and Cooking - my waistline continues to suffer but we really enjoy the many restaurants near us and we are pretty good cooks! .

• Politics/Journalism - Since I lean to the right, you know that I prefer conservative journalists and AM radio.
