Like most families we have many heritage flags to fly over our house

Every region in our great country has it's own beauty.  The ruggedness of the west and north is a great favorite of all who visit.  The grandeur of the south from the great mansions to the gulf coast has little comparison.  Midwestern homespun values are apparent in most views of the typical small Midwestern town.  As I grew up in the Midwest, I can speak for the wonderful people and values that reside there.

My favorite is obvious, since I settled in New England.  Colonial age historical buildings and historic locales mixed with "new economy" wizards and companies cannot be found anywhere else.  Most New England states protect the family farm and local zoning limits rampant urban sprawl found elsewhere.  Tourism is the number industry here and higher education is the foundation of the local Hi-tech world which keeps many of the graduates right here!  This drives the local economy and keeps our real estate and incomes high.

You don't have to look far to find a "perfect picture" of New England.  Come visit and try it.

Looking toward the Atlantic! -- Just beyond Boston's Back Bay and the Mass General Hospital complex is the New Zakim - Bunker Hill Bridge.  It is our nation's newest suspension bridge and is the flagship of Boston's Big Dig Project
