The chance to see real time pictures of a region from anywhere in the world is one the fascinating things brought about by the internet. 

I have found a number of WEB CAMs in New England.  Most are on-line 24 hours a day and 7 days a week, but you may find some offline.

As you look through the list, you can start at the top of Mt. Washington (it's probably snowing!) and go east to Maine and then south through New Hampshire.  Check out Boston city and beach views and go to Cape Cod and then to the Rhode Island and the Narragansett!
