GETTING INVOLVED IN PROTECTING PUGET SOUND

Throughout the day group discussions are held in which students share their experiences
on things they are doing which are either helping or harming Puget Sound. Near the end of
the day everyone brainstorms on what each of us can do to become better stewards for
Puget Sound. Resource materials about local environmental organizations and stewardship
projects are provided for teachers to share with their students.

Protecting Puget Sound: whose job is it? Who must take care of Puget Sound, the watersheds that feed it, and other watersheds throughout our state?  ALL OF US!  There are countless opportunities to participate; some are quick and easy, while others involve more long-term commitment.  Perhaps one or more of the following contacts can help you get started!
