Mallets
The James Ancona series is designed specifically for use in both indoor
and outdoor marching ensembles. These mallets introduce a new dowel,
sealed with a unique finish for improved grip during playing. Designed
to
complement other Innovative Percussion keyboard mallets used in
marching
situations, these new mallets will offer darker, warmer sound choices
and a
different feel for the marching keyboard percussionists. The
extra-durable
synthetic yarn is black and the multi-ply cord is dark red.
IP2001 - An extra soft yarn mallet, ideal for smooth, dark rolls
IP2002 - This soft yarn mallet has just a bit of core sound - this is a
nice
general purpose solo mallet
IP2003 - This medium yarn mallet speaks well throughout the entire range
of the
instrument
IP2004 - This hard yarn mallet is great for general use outdoors -
it has
great
cutting power in the upper range of the marimba
IP2005 - A medium-soft cord mallet - just a bit brighter than the IP2003
IP2006 - This medium-hard cord mallet is excellent for general purpose
use on
vibes or marimba
IP2007 - This hard cord mallet is very articulate and works well for
upper
register marimba and vibraphone
